One thing which bothered me personally a little bit was the lack of snow here in Warsaw. It only sowed once and then they snow was there only for one night and in the morning, it was green again. But maybe it is better this way, because snow can cause a lot of trouble in a big city. But still winter without snow is a little bit depressing and in Warsaw I never had the felling of winter. I thought November didn’t stop until March, foggy rainy and wet weather all the time. So obviously the picture was not taken in Warsaw, it was taken in small polish town, two hours away from Warsaw. It is called Kosów Lacki and located in the North of Poland. Catching the moment when it started to snow is always beautiful and when it happens in front of an impressive church it is a plus as well.
I was in this town together with Elena to conduct a Workshop there. After the official part was done a group of students showed us their town and this is the thing which I always found the most interesting part. Getting a small insight in their life and seeing how the life in the rural Poland is. This is a part which always make me rethink how my situation in the rural Austria is, where I lived until I moved to Warsaw for this year. I try to compare it, but I know its not really possible to compare things in a few hours and a conversation.
