Almost for two months, I have been working at Special Kindergarten #213. At the beginning of my trip, everything was so fresh and new, but now it’s even more exciting!
I work in a group of three cool boys from three to five years old. It’s so motivating for me to see that each of them gains new knowledge and learns new skills every day. I want to tell you more about them:
Dominik likes singing songs, his favorite two are “Kolo” and “Umyjemy łapki.” He has a good sense of rhythm and tune. Also, Dominik likes to dance and play active games. His new skill is that he started to notice other kids and wants to play with them.
Kuba is a funny boy with a charming smile. He loves to listen to music and to do sensory activities. Besides, he likes being outside, watching cars, especially busses. I remember one moment when we went outside and met fifth-years grade boys and girls from the nearby school. The pupils liked Kuba very much, and Kuba was smiling and happy, he showed them his talent for flexibility, and joined older kids on a trampoline.
Nataniel is the smallest brave member of our team. He is a clever boy who can solve different logical tasks. He likes putting things in order, for instance, he makes a line of cars and color pencils. Little Nataniel also likes to run and to go to the playground. When I came to kindergarten, he did not want to eat much, but now he has a good appetite and not afraid of trying new food.
Also, I’m extremely proud to work with the Most Creative Person – Agnieszka, and the Best Teacher of Polish – Marta. They are very supportive and taught me to do many new things that I did not know about.
The most memorable for me were celebrations of Andrzejki and Saint Nicholas Day. Teachers did a great job to make unforgettable holidays for kids.
The biggest cultural shock for me was when I discovered that the winter does not start on December 1st here)))
