#Trzymaj Dystans

Partner Look in a different way, when the polish government announced that it is obligatory to wear mask at public places, we ordered all the same mask for us. Therefor our flat was recognizable as one. #Trzymas Dystans mean keeping distance in polish. Even though I managed to wear sometimes the mask in a way that the text was upside down, which had the consequences that many people stared at my mask and I tried to identify what is written there. Still my favorite mask, it has something fashionable I would say. It can fit into any outfit very well.

But isn’t it funny how fast we got used to wear them? Now when I leave the flat, I always think do I have everything? Key, Phone, Wallet and of course the mask. Wearing a mask and public shouldn’t be a huge problem for anyone. But for some it seems such a huge deal to wear these masks. A lot of people claim it reduce their freedom. I don’t see this as a reduce of freedom, with this logic you can argue everything which is for your safety and the safety for others is a reduction of freedom. Traffic lights and seat belts are also a restriction of freedom but for your own safety and for the safety of others. For these things exist also regulations which are controlled and enforced. Contrarywise being without a mask in a public space like the metro or a shopping center is still seen many times, without any consequences.  But for me the mask gave me a part of the freedom back, being allowed to be in public places again is amazing and if I only need to wear a mask than this is a price, I am willing to pay. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks like this and that’s the crucial point. It is still quite normal to see people without it where it is required to wear one, but its not controlled or enforced.
