Wolność is Freedom in polish. What is Freedom? The concept of Freedom changed a lot for me during the last time. As almost everybody, I expired the situation of the lockdown. Being at home for more than 2 months was challenging, everything was restricted until the point, it wasn’t allowed to go for a walk with all my flatmate. But I knew at this time, this restriction is necessary, to have back a “normal” life as fast as possible. Even if it wasn’t easy, but in this situation, nothing was easy for no one. Then normality came slowly back into our daily life. I didn’t expect it such a fast way. Step by step until the point where bars were open again. Then me and my friends discovered this place which is called Wolność
At this place there are some food trucks, bars and in the night, it is becoming a kind of a club. It is located next to the Wisła river, which became one of my favourite places in Warsaw. During the summer Warsaw feels so differently from winter, the city seams so different itself. The night becomes incredibly short. There at this place you can see the sunrise above the National Stadion. The moment when the night is getting already a little bit blurry, the DJ is already in that phase where the music gets more and more repetitive and you start to feel tired at the same time, than sunrise seams even more beautiful than it is normally. I apricated the sun rise in this situation more than ever, it is the best way to end a great night with friends
