Hello there! My name is Pedro, I was born in Spain 21 years ago. Now I’m here, in Poland, 3240km away from my hometown Lucena, near Córdoba, famous for be the city that has more World Heritage from the UNESCO.
This story doesn’t start 2 months ago that was when I arrived here. Almost 8 months ago, during my University life, I was working in Starbucks and I met someone who changed my life in one moment. I was a little bit confuse and worry about my future after finish my degree. He suggest me about life one experience abroad doing a volunteering service. And now I realize that this is the most important decision that I have never done in my life.
I’m here in Warsaw since two months and this is not only my first time here in Poland, at the same time is my first experience living abroad. Maybe, at the begining I was a little bit scared about my future here, about my project or about how would be learn and talk in Polish. Now, I have realised that I have done a lot of new things in two months, that I have met too many people here.
I’m doing my volunteering in the Primary School n318. This is a especial school where they integrate kids with special disabilities like Autism or Asperger. And here I’m doing activities relatives to Spanish language, sport, English and Sensorial Integration. I’m trying to achive new projects for the school, new activities and methodologies to not only help in the school if not to get a bit of experience for my future, because I want to be teacher.
In the next blogs, I will try to explain and tell more about my activies, my work here, my Polish or our experiences abroad.
See you soon and nice to meet you!
